Bees have no sense
21 June 2011
Its a rare thing for me to go into central London to buy things from the high street. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it but I'm just not that kind of shopper. But my son needed a few things and so did I so this Monday I headed uptown with heavy heart to the sales.
By far the most interesting thing I saw all day was this swarm of bees who'd decided to make their home on a traffic light on Hanover Street, just off Regent Street. The beekeepers were trying to contain them in a cardboard box but it wasn't working. Wonder if they are still there.
