Snowden's favourite strange festive facts!

I love Xmas and I love freaky facts so.... did you know that......
Oldest domestic tree still in use
The oldest domestic Christmas tree is thought to be owned by Janet Parker of Wiltshire in the UK. It's a puny 12 inches tall and was bought by Janet's grandmother in 1886 in the local branch of Woolworths. Hey, don't scoff (and groovy jumper Janet!)
Norwegian witches
Every single person in Norway worth their salt hides their brooms after Christmas Eve dinner. They just will not risk a witch or spirit stealing it and causing havoc around town
Kentucky for Christmas!
In 1974, the gods of junk food, KFC released a festive marketing campaign in Japan. Their slogan "Kurisumasu ni wa kentakkii!" (Kentucky for Christmas!) spawned a popular national tradition. Christmas is not even a national holiday in Japan, but families from all over the country head to their local branch and queues wind around the block. It's one of the most lucrative KFC days of the year there!
